I've made a rule for myself in the last couple of years of only buying stocks with real revenue histories, and hopefully profits (I've broken the profits rule only once that I can think of). That is why I chose pair. I learned my lesson after taking some positions in some early micro-cap story stocks. Almost every one tanked big time. I think about half are now under a dollar, or out of business. The only positive was it lowered my IRS bill back then.

There's nothing like a solid internal earnings stream to fund R&D, instead of having to go back to external investors again and again. Could people be moving to that view?

Addendum--After that last statement, went back to see how my earlier sells did today. Guess what? They broke even!, easily beating the market. Amazing.

What's the difference between MSDSL and HDSL2, anyone?
