To all, Looks like I have a few minutes here while I wait for the traffic to clear up. Today Bid.com took a huge leap forward in the ongoing maturity of the company. The management has done a great job for us and themselves by getting where they are. Management has done what they said they were going to do. Now it is our turn to do what we said we would do...and that is put up or shut up! All of us have to ask ourselves, do I still want to be here. If you are nervous or can't the day in day out movement of the stock, wee, then, maybe it is time to bow out and find another investment, maybe something a little bit more akin to our risk tolerance. Nobody ever said this was going to be an easy ride in the upward direction with very little risk. Are we happy with: the decisions that management has made, future earnings and revenue projections, market performance (both BII and broad market in general), present valuation of company, comparison to other like companies, business model, etc., etc. Answer these questions honestly. Then make your decision based upon these answers. NOBODY EVER LOST MONEY BY TAKING A PROFIT. If we are still happy with BII then lets drive on and see if we can make more money. If you don't like what some people on this thread have to say then you have options 1.Disregard their posts and move on to the next 2. Challenge them on their posts and have them provide proof 3. Read what they have to say and take their information into consideration when making informed decisions 4. Waste everyones time by making them read endless posts of childish banter and insignificant crap. When this stock has a down day, all the apparent non-believers com out of the woodwork and tell us that the sky is falling, the bubblle has burst, the stock has the end of its run, the market is crashing, and any other lines to invoke fear and insecurity in the thread participants. This is when you have to take a step back, ask yourself a few questions, and see if anything has fundamentally changed enough for you to question why you are investing in this stock and make a decision if need be. When this stock has an up day, everyone asks where these same individuals are and asks questions as to why they haven't paticipated in the thread for a few hours, days etc. More often than not, they do show up later on but not to answer any specific posts directed at them, but to drag up articles and references from who-the-hell-knows-where, comparing apples to oranges, like companies that are not even in the same business as Bid.com. Really, what do lower earnings for a chip maker or something have to do with BII's present or future business plans. Fine thay are both computer related stocks but one industry sector does not mirror what another sector is doing. I recall one person saying to another today "Show me the money" Well, for me anyway, this one has been about a twelve bagger or more at present prices. And no its not all on paper still. I have a ton to show for it. Thats what this game is all about isn't it? What can he show me in return for all his hard work over the past few months? Enough. I've gone on too long already. Everybody make your own decisions and do your own DD. I for one still believe. I may be wrong but atleast I'm willing to live with the consequences of my decisions. If I am wrong then they can come back and say "I told you so" and I will admit defeat ...not to them, but to myself for they had no bearing on my decision to buy or sell this stock. To others: remember "a shut mouth gathers no foot" I must go home now to a beautiful wife and to great boys that mean more than this stock or this market ever will to me. S.I.T.C.O.M. (single income, two children, outrageous mortgage) (three good reasons why i've been long Bii and happy for it!)
