Agree. Seen this too many times and it usually ends the same way. AOL and MSFT report soon. Anyone want to bet that MSFT leads us out of this mess by blowing the doors off the earnings estimates? I bet they come in pretty solid and leave no doubt as to the health of the pc indusrty. But, sometimes it does'nt matter b/c the market usually is'nt listening until their done selling.sell first, ask questions later is the official policy on wall street.

Donnie Re selling
My choice was simple, sell other stocks or sell Dell or have the broker chose which ones to sell.
I always have and always will chose to sell other stocks before selling Dell.
I agree I probably lost some good ones but will climb back on some when the time is right. Those are major earnings coming out the next two days, could bring techs roaring right back.
Good luck
Sig

Paragraph taken from the Dallas Morning News on CPQ/DELL--------->

Analysts said Sunday that falling computer prices, increased pressure from Texas rival DELL Computer Corp. of Round Rock and
friction between Compaq and its resellers are to blame for the company's recent rash of poor financial news.
