Buy back was announed in April of '98. Can't remember the amount specified. El

I checked on the Compaq website and the last buyback i saw was around 3rd quarter last year for $200 million. I'm not sure if that was the most recent, but I guess i just assumed that was done by now. Of course, a new buyback would be great.

Just read the CNET stories about AV. How about Microsoft buying AV from Compaq, since MSN started to use AV over INKT? yeah......right.
