Thanks. I'm not really talking to Barry. When he grows up, he will grow up, and not until. I'm really talking to others on this thread who have serious concerns about the issues and aren't yet totally closed minded. I get occasional PMs from lurkers thanking me for what I have posted. That's reward enough. I have always believed that the way to deal with hate speech is not to bury it, but to bring it out in the open and expose it to the air. As more and more people here see the vacuity and inhumaneness of Barry's thinking, they will begin to overcome the knee-jerk "My country right or wrong" thinking that is drummed into us in public schools and start to think about the U.S. as a part of an interdependent world and what this war is doing to our long-term peace, security, and prosperity. Education is the goal. Barry isn't the point, he's the anvil on which I can forge truths for others to enjoy. The anvil never changes, but the iron which is forged can become a thing of beauty and utility.
