we could easily drop a grand tomorrow, IMO.. wouldn't shock me in the least.. again... I think it is just a matter of the way in which the panic unfolds.. there's nothing under us but air at this point. Who cares "how" we fall... -g- as for gold.... same thing. Depends on how fast the shorts panic and cover.. but it is going up. any rest in the XAU rally is likely from people overleveraging into the rally and having to raise cash during the rally. All dips should be bought form here, IMO. we'll see though.... daily timing is an imprecise science at best.
