Brien- just hold in there. Yesterday's selloff was triggered by automatic computer selling programs that kicked in when Meeker and others called for a correction in net stocks ( that can read tech. stocks also). The computers also were weak as a sector. These corrections are needed from time to time, but for the most part overdone. The press called it a sector rotation, but I for one am not interested in oil, airline, aluminum, etc. stocks.
Tellab's beat the street by 3 cents, will shortly announce 2-3 major new products (some in the hybrid-fiber optic area) and should bring home $2.55/share net in 1999. They have little debt, and have proven they can complete in today's telecom.eqt. mrkt. They recently recieved some upgrades and new target prices for 1999.
So grin and bear it, look at the big picture, namely, how has Tellab's done in the last 6-12 months in terms of price appreciation.
Look at mother nature to appreciate what is taking place.
When I have 10,000 snow geese flying over my house, if the lead goose spots a mouse on the ground and becomes scared, then he flares and within 2 seconds the goose computer sets in and all 10,000 geese flare and turn.
Now if you know the fundamentals and have your eyes set on firm goals ( albeit longer term) then you will maintain your direction and land on the green wheat pastures that you originally set your eyes on.
Good Hunting
