margin interest is available somewhere...if tech stocks fall another 2-3% tomorrow morning, margin calls could be heavy. a # of firms no longer allow margining of high flying internet stocks due to inherent dangers...if the techs sell off, I think margin selling could be HUGE!!! and drop the Nasday below 2000 points, where it is closer to it's fundamental value driven support levels...Dell is still expensive, but no where near other tech stocks, and is a quality co. that is poised for future growth...but if the margin selling starts, they all fall (initially)...imo

I agree that's a big question--how many margin calls--but how can it be answered? Pure speculation. We'll see tomorrow?
