hdl...i know you are serious..but you can't make a business run long term if you do it on slim margins..the perceived revenue game is like a house of cards... you are a lawyer..hang out your shingle and only take pro bono cases...in doing so how long can you survive..the ability to solely cover expenses as some i-net sales companies are doing allows for no margin of error.....such as if i am an offshore manufacturer and my product is selling like hotcakes...and a container of my product gets lost or damaged in transit...even this small miscue can be the straw that breaks the camels back...an offshore producer does not have a great price advantage on components than a dell does..for dell sources offshore...read the article in saturdays ibd which addresses service and low end machines..could give you a better understanding..believe it was posted on this thread..good luck, ed a. p.s...history will show you that in an economic downturn only the cash strong survive...
