Thanks for the kind words everybody (don't anybody wake up Vectra!)

In my opinion (see what $6000 in lawyer's fees will teach you?), these are the best times for derivative traders since '86/'87. Big moves, heavy volumes, volatility swings, in short--happy hunting days. I'm real happy to see discussion of options and strategies like Dave just posted. I'm sure that's what Jan had in mind starting this thread.

Whether or not we face the dislocation involved in being forced to decide on going/not going to Montreal, trading will continue. I just wish someone in the know would give us the facts. A lot of us have wives with careers, children in school/skating/etc., and have tough decisions to make, with so far no facts to go on. I know I'll be getting a lot of frequent flier miles...

Could you explain more. Are you suggesting selling a put and a call?
