toowit:.....
<<The fact that Delphi and Toyota announced a five year agreement to develop cars that run on fuel cells only increases and confirms their motivation.>>
That should read <<The fact that GM and Toyota announced a five year agreement to develop cars that run on fuel cells only increases and confirms their motivation.>>
GM will have sold all of their position in Delphi by the end of May,99. Plus GM/Toyota are developing their own fuel cell technology.

BTW, thanks for the info on brokerage houses. regards! rick.

Just heard more on CNN in regard to GM & Toyota announcement. It ended by saying that they were looking at putting people in fuel cell powered vehicles, without paying a premium price. The more price infomation we get the better. The absense of extrnal reformer is one big plus in a lower price, if in fact it is announced by Global thet they have a cell that is potentially cheaper or significantly cheaper than Ballard, then this would back up GM & Toyota's mission of providing a reasonable priced vehicle, again, one that so far has been ellusive to Ballard. Hopefully the core of our technology and its different approach to cell and fuel reformation will provide this price benefit.

It would be nice to hear an announcement from Delphi saying that they would be supplying the GM/Toyota venture with the fuel cell technology, thusly providing a correlation of todays news directly to GLE
