Excellent post. But,where does three twisted pairs fit in. Unless you're trying to squeeze a few extra feet out of 2pr 26ga or 24ga?

Thanks, Mark C--I'd never heard of this variation before. Sounds like pair's HDSL2 will be much preferred by the telcos in terms of copper conservation.
