Ron, Do not know which tech is better, although I have been told that Reflex has superior transmission and larger footprint. Skytel presently has NPCS, with Pagemart and the debit laden Page on the way. It seems that the present success of RIMM is due more to BLS marketing and of course a smart piece of equipment. With the alliance just formed at Comdex, BLS is the target of a squeeze and RIMM has no other supporter since they are at the complete mercy of BLS.
If I remember reading, RIMM has sold a little over 20k pagers as of 2 months ago, MOT and GEMS the 2way manufactures in NPCS is selling even with the present slowdown in the hundreds of thousands. Mind you they have yet to make any money to date.
