"The blame for the MidEast mess belongs to the US and European powers who wanted to dump the Jewish refugee problem after WWII onto Palestine."

The Zionist philosophy and mythical Jewish principle that Palestine belongs to the Jews did not originate with the European powers, but with Jewish theology. In 1898, Theodor Herzl set out to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. The dispensationalist fundamentalist Christians in England came to Herzl's aid. First, the christian fundamentalist Darby developed the theory that Palestine belong to the Jews and that they must be resettled in Palestine before Jesus would return. The fundamentalist Lord Balfour bought Darby's and the Zionist theory and engineered the Balfour declaration in l917.
The Jewish-Zionist Lobby in America kicked into gear and began to spend huge amounts of money funding "christian" pro-Zionist groups all over America.
At this time the Scofied Bible was distributed in all Baptist Churches and many other fundamentalist Churches all over America. Scofied's notes in the King James Bible pushed the Zionist and Darby-Balfour perspective that the Jews must first settle in Palestine in order for Jesus to return. Guided by their Zionist leaders, this Zionist-led Jewish-christian coalition began lobbying Congress for aid and support for Israel.
The rest of the story has develped in our life times.
