Sarmad, at least you have a reasonable reply!!

The Internet wasn't declared unconstitutional today. Amazon didn't sell fewer books than last week. Pamela Lee is still being downloaded by every 11+ yr old straight male in America.

The IP packets are still flying around the globe. ISP's and backbones are still upgrading, but the market suddenly feels safer in the 19th Century. This too shall pass.

Sarmad -- does anybody know the # for the largest one day point drop in the DAX and DOW? Probably because of black Monday, I always expected that if we ever got into really serious trouble again it would be on a Monday. Next Monday.
