Sound pretty smart to me Jim, I may not have been in cash this sell off but i will be all cash near the end of summer in hopes of capitalizing on what I think will be a huge Y2K sell off. I have a gut feeling they will start pumping Y2K fear pretty heavy in the not to distant future. jmho, MarkC.

Jim agree with you 100%
that is the way it usually works. IMO I feel like the time to buy is when investors are panic selling for no other reasons than the MM have said this sector is out of favor, or sector is in a weak period. All sectors go through weak periods and then later rebound big. These same MM that down grade the tech sector are more than likely buying all the shares they can get their hands on and will be glad to sell them back to investors once they decided to start putting out their "strong buys" and their "Top Picks", after they have risen 20%. I have fallen into this trap myself not to long ago. Guess the old saying that you learn from your mistakes is true.

BTW many investors might not be panic sellers but merely profit takers which is a different story all together.
