Those were the days. I think I missed that game. But back then a parent could call the stadium and tell they were bringing their child to the game and that it was his birthday and they would put the kids name and a birthday wish up on the scoreboard during the game. I know because this happened to me. All of a sudden my name is up in lights and my moms telling me to stand up. Being just a youngster I did what I was told and at that precise moment the crowd erupted and I thought WOW this is great. The crowd cheering because it was my birthday. When I turned around to sit down I saw Ted Sizemore rounding third on his way to the plate after hitting a grand slam. Oh well I was a kid. MarkC
