I guess one of the points of my post was to point out that there's more to the computer market that just the U.S. These figures that you've been quoting about computer sales, are they world wide, or just the U.S.? It matters, on this thread, because Novellus, and the semiconductor equipment industry as a whole, operate in a world-wide market. One of the problems with the Internet is that anyone can say anything, and nobody knows who to trust. My approach is to rely on verifiable information. Anything else is suspect. If you would get in the habit of citing your sources (even better, providing links) and being a little more specific about what the range of applicability is of the "data" you are posting, your posts would be a lot more useful, to both bulls and bears.
