<PPOD> PPOD was a focus of some shorts here. I was just checking thestreet.com's internet index, which is gaining more and more attention, and found that PPOD is on it. It doesn't necessarily mean that PPOD isn't going to tank like the Titanic because onsale.com is also on there, but it definitely gives PPOD some more credibility. Just FYI.

OT- Interesting theory that there are no Russians now alive that have lived in a free or capitalist Russia. However, the fear of communists or nationalists coming to power is a little overblown by the media. I can say that it is possible to do business without paying off the media, at least that's my experience after 18 months in Moscow. You do have to be careful of who you are associated with as far as business partners, vendors, employees, etc. I think that the market has already factored in the collapse of Russia- this was done back in August '98. Except in the worse case scenarios (including Russian military involvement in Kosovo), I don't see Russia having further negative impact in the markets.
