Juanita--- It is indeed...As I said to Gustave earlier, the Civil Rights movement was largely platitudinous, because its strength was in pointing out that it was UNAMERICAN to treat our citizens of color in such a way...

Juanita, if you're old enough to have seen something like that, you're old enough to have participated in the civil rights movement. I'm 50 years old and was raised in Georgia and I never saw anything like that, though I understand that such things like that did occur up until the late 1950's. Nevertheless, if I had seen something of the sort I would have violated it's instructions just on general principle and defied anyone to stop me.
