Thank you for making the distinction. The net is the most fabulously interesting thing on the planet, at least in my opinion.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean adding ".com" to an otherwise unprofitable joke of a company is an instant path to profits. Unless of course step #2 of your business plan is to "Sell millions of dollars of stock to the public and retire by December."

And if anyone thinks I'm kidding about #2, you havent been living in the valley long enough. By the time this mess is over, the "industry" is going to have about the same credibility as an S&L officer making huge unsecured loans to his friends and biz cronies right before people the public finally realized what was going on.
