dumbmoney--- Did you attend to the question? Besides, the problem with Vietnam was not the boneheaded logic that kept us in, but the incompetence that made it impossible to win. It was never "obviously a lost cause", absent excessive political interference...As I said, if you are isolationist, that is a broader and more complicated argument. Suffice it to say that rooting for the other side, absent the kind of indisputable evil represented by a fascist regime, is unseemly.
