Some truth to that I think. Also a lot of fund managers wanted to play catchup with internet this year after being trounced. Lemmings at the peak. Now BIG money (the kind that does not go into SI bs stocks, but real pension/institutional money) is going where it feels safe. It happened in 84, 87, 90, 94 and now 99. Everybody says "oh yeah, I understand tech (or internets, biotech or whatever)" until the music stops. Then, they want out and fast. This chat room crowd was still in Jr. high school in 94. And they think it only goes up. Time for them to get some grey hair...
