Tim,

If you are considering the inuts, consider CMGI. At least look at it once this morning. A week ago it was $100+ a share higher than close yesterday plus it is due to split in May. If I had the $$ I'd be a buyer after a bottom today or tomorrow. Your money would be tied up maybe a month but man, $100+ a share for 30 days work?

OK done with "advice"

Good Morning all.

Kathyh, good luck with Watley! Can you post after you are done how it went and how intuitive it was on the first day? TIA

Good Trading All!

Apr 8 HLX Article excerpt

"Halter Marine's executives know the risks the company is facing as well as anyone, and they are betting the stock will go up. Insiders bought 79,000 shares in the open market throughout 1998 at prices ranging from $12 to $18.63. In February and March of this year, Halter's chairman and a director picked up a another 55,000 shares altogether for $5 or less apiece. Insiders now own approximately 19% of this company.

While it's true that Halter's insiders--along with the numerous other executives throughout the oil industry who bought their shares heavily in 1998--were early, insiders in general are not known for their deft timing.

However, insiders are known to be good at indicating long-term value and with Halter's stock now at $4.31, investors can make an argument for finally following Halter's execs. The shares trade for only two times the company's tangible book value of $2.13 per share, and below the listed value of Halter's fixed assets. Halter's management also indicates that it now has over $1 per share in cash on hand."

Interesting. Stock actually closed at 6.5 yesterday.

Tim, I think there is still something going on with PAIR. It held up relatively well yesterday, and there are buyers already this morning.

Gotta go to work now. Good luck today. Check in later in the day.
M
