KM, I'm in the middle of an e mail discussion with an engineer in Croatia who's trying to quantify the "systems" he sees in my site articles. I keep telling him this is real difficult to do with discretion-based trading and a site philosophy that appeals to a broad time-range of traders. His responses usually end with "OK but what annual % gain should I expect and what % drawdown if I use your system?". Of course, much of that mentality has to do with how TA is taught to futures traders. The funny thing is that I hear from pros all the time who say their results improved when they stopped mechanical entry and started using both sides of their brain in trade execution. Alan
