Bill--- I am not an authoritorian, I am an elitist...In any case, people have responsibility for whom they elect, and election ensures that their representatives will continue to be responsible to the people for their decisions. However, the principal of delegation means that those who are assigned the specific tasks of legislation and oversight ought primarily to govern by their best lights...

Bill--- I am not an authoritarian, I am an elitist. People remain responsible for their decisions in electing their representatives, and election ensures that representatives will be responsible to the voters, which is one reason I am against term limits. But the principal of delegation means that those given the task of legislation and oversight ought to primarily discharge their duties by their best lights...
