IDT Teams with RealNetworks To Enable First Distributed Multi-Tier Internet Broadcast Architecture April 20, 1999 12:26 PM HACKENSACK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999-- Compelling new services based on RealSystem G2 to be provided to IDT Internet user base IDT IDTC today announced that it has teamed with RealNetworks(TM) RNWK , the recognized leader in streaming media, to help build the first distributed multi-tier Internet broadcast architecture. IDT, through the installation of RealSystem G2 broadcast hubs, will assist in the delivery of the highest quality multimedia experience to IDT Internet users through RealNetworks' Real Broadcast Network (RBN).
