Jeff,

You're absolutely correct about "sometimes tragedy brings out the best in people. Sometimes the dark side rears it's ugly head." I'm going through a bit of that right now myself.

Feeling the Nasdaq is either at or very close to a strategic long-term bottom, poised for a nice, new run up, I have taken positions today in AOL, CMGI, SUNW. Got some GE, PFE, and SCH at the same time. I consider these bargains and feel they have a lot of upside potential throughout the rest of this year. I'm looking at EMC right now, but seem to have just missed my desired entry point. Oh, well. I will probably take a position in it before the day is out.

I don't feel so good about DELL and MSFT right now, though. I think they have been leaders for too long right now, may need a bit of a rest, especially with recent negative news from CPQ. I hope they work well for you, and they probably will.

RNWK, QCOM, DCLK, AMTD are incredible today, but I think I missed them and will probably wait before adding more positions. Enough is enough for one day, and this may not yet be the "final" bottom. :-}

Good luck,

Bill
