Q1 - LSCC 7% sequential Q growth, IDTI & CY neutral:

Q1 score card for semis:

+ve - MOT, ALTR, INTC, PMCS, STM, VLSI, TI, LSI, LSCC, BRCM
neutral - MU, IDTI, CY
-ve - AMD

Issued projections on Q1:

+ve - TSM (and guess whom they make wafers for?)
neutral -
-ve -

From above, I dare say that general semi upturn has indeed begun. Anybody who's got any IPs are under well. Memory still has a way to go though. If LSI turns in 5% to 6% increase for Q2 and continue to hit their operations target, I think my Excel prediction should not be that far off the mark. Now are we going to get a 2 year ride (starting from last Q4) or do we get more than that?
