This is where consolidation comes in. I feel that the Internet will be a mixture of the two, mirroring the bricks and mortar market. Some will be specialty shops, some will sell everything. It will depend on who has the best prices in the end. Also,cconsolidation will take place and the leaders will emerge.
Bid.com has a patent on the declining auction technology on computers. Perhaps they will buy or be bought by another company. Who knows what is coming down the road.
