no spending....relative to enough spending....is still no spending....according to the theory. and in this case, it's not an issue of timing per se or an october correction....rather a fundamental shift in outlook....and of course a rotation we have not seen in "years"....

I have a great "what if" that isn't in the equation....that if asia has bottomed.....and did a "dramatic" turn around...perhaps that would blow the theory apart...and take up the slack for these companies.

and of course...there are exceptions...in which case EMC may be one of them...as the CEO has been saying for days now. but it won't be an exception until it's seperated from the mass selling of tech shares by managers leaving/or cutting back this area of their portfolios en mass.
