I agree with what you said.
By the way, in the 1970's my company sent me to
the farm (Stanford) where I learned my economics
from some famous names beginning with P and S.
Then for the next 20 years I did econ studies for
projects over $1,000,000 and presented the results
to a group of VP's. And finally my favorite mag is
"The Journal of Finance"..try reading that with out
knowning probability. And like any good EE my math
goes all the way up to Laplace Transformations.
Add portfolio theory and ...here I am retired with
more then enough money to get to the grave.

Yes I under stand stock price = future earnings discounted.
And if DELL's rev falls from 36% to 25%, DELL will eventually
get back up to 55, but at a much slower rate.

But with all my back ground, I can not predict the future,
so I just follow the trend (g)
