Sales OnLine Direct Announces Early Launch Date for New Portal Site
WORCESTER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999--Sales OnLine Direct, Inc. (OTC BB:PAID) announced today that it has moved its launch date up to Monday, April 26, 1999 to unveil its new e-commerce portal site. This new portal site will be a launching point to thousands of sites and will improve navigation, and make shopping easier for our 3 million yearly visitors. The company will also be announcing its advertising plans for the site in the near future. The site will encompass banner advertising for select sites and will add to our current revenue stream. We feel confident that combining this site with our existing Internet divisions gives the company a platform for rapid expansion.

''Our personnel have worked for weeks to prepare for the expected influx of web hits for the upcoming website launch. The additional traffic will be handled by Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ:SUNW - news) Ultra SPARC servers, running in parallel. We have also upgraded to new Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO - news) routers,'' said Marc Stengel, Vice President of Sales OnLine Direct.

The site will feature major retailers we have affiliate or direct agreements with. Featured sites will include links to; K-Tel International Inc. (NASDAQ:KTEL - news), The Dick Butkus Football Network, Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN - news), Dell Computer (NASDAQ:DELL - news), Cyberian Outpost (NASDAQ:COOL - news), Borders GRP (NYSE:BGP.

Sales OnLine Direct has drawn a great deal of attention to itself with the announcement of hosting the Worlds Largest Sports Auction ever to hit the web with pre-bidding for this auction surpassing $2,400,000, and the recent consignment of a $10,000,000 original movie poster collection. The success of the eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY - news) and Onsale Inc. (NASDAQ:ONSL - news) auction sites has demonstrated the popularity of on line auctions, attracting others to do the same.

Let's hope you are right. And it will be one hell of a buying
chance when the DELL trend turns positive...which I feel it will,
but don't know when.
