When we talk about data rate limits, and having user terminals "leasing" two or more CDMA codes, it's understood, isn't it that these are different UT's than the mobile handsets being advertised now?

I would assume, too, that if one is willing to use a bigger UT, (more power, etc) you should be able to consume as large a bandwidth as G* is willing to sell. But then, it's not mobile phone any more.

I understood the fixed terminals G* has in mind for rural uses would in fact support multiple simultaneous voice or data channels.
