Hmmmm. Well I would say a stainless steel jacket would weigh far less than the reformer, coolant and hoses included. But assuming this were an equal weight exchange, then GLE's claim of twice the power makes this a heads up winner...all things being equal?

You will notice as well the Ballard system requires a complex system to cool and heat their cell in order to keep the temperature consistent to operate just as we required a system of cooling to channel away the heat. How much does the Ballard cooling/ containment system weigh? Go to the Ballard site and take a look at their system, in order to maintain the cell in a consistent operating temperature it requires a complex cooling and heating system. This too is a very costly system because the temperature range/window in which the cell atually works is small. Costly to manufacture and costly in terms of controls and electronics/sensors.
