Mike,

Can I pry into some of your methodology for timing your put buying?

In scanning the charts of a lot of real high fliers, it seems as though there's often a parabolic upside move before a break. If I may speculate, probably a violent short covering rally that lasts a few days or so. Soon after, there's a break. Is this something you have noticed also and does it play any part in your selections and timing?

It seems that identifying short candidates based on deteriorating fundamentals and excessive values combined with this sort of timing feature may produce reasonable results.
