Thread: Just curious re. Carlton Lutz of Cabot Newsletter; I got a come-on letter in the mail for his news letter where he describes his best monster pick for the coming decade. It seemed like it had to be EMC. Of course, you had to buy the newsletter to get the name of this "undiscovered" company. The advert/sales letter was carried away by the trash man Monday morning. But, I am curious, can anyone out there confirm that this is EMC? Really, I am just curious. I doesn't matter as I have been long EMC since 1994! This is one of those stocks that I purchased and never even followed it much. I just figured that they had the ticket to participate in EXPLODING growth.

EMC margins boosted by surging software sales HOPKINTON, Mass., April 20 (Reuters) - Leading computer storage system maker EMC Corp. (EMC - news) said Tuesday that better-than-expected software sales boosted gross margins to 53 percent in the first quarter from 48 percent a year earlier. Michael Ruettgers, president and chief executive, said in a conference call that software sales rose 130 percent in the quarter, to $155 million from $66 million a year earlier.
