hmm.maybe we need to come up with new rite of puberty for the new millennia...call it Greenspan day.. on their 13th birthday little boys and girls get dressed up in dollar-bill-green costumes and have a party to celebrate the opening of an Ameritrade account. Mom and Dad will buy a virgin Dell computer, HP printer and Microsoft software for the occasion, in a symbolic gesture, dating back to the days in prior centuries when 13 year old kids were still virgins....Greenspan's visage will show up on the screen and scream "buy!" and fake currency bills will start pouring out the printer. There will be pictures of Bill Gates on the large-denomination bills and Bill Clinton's picture on the "penny" bills...and of course that's why the money is named "bills".......ah yes, I can see it unfold...taxes will automatically be taken out of the printing operation electronically by the IRS. What a world.
