Dipy's view of the analysts besides, you've got to hand it to the funds who drove the prices of chip stocks up 100% last fall from the lows. For me, LSI was a no-brainer after the fall, from operations view point they were doing everything right by the books. But for the funds to bought in huge at the low, Fidelity included, they really knew what they were doing. Or was it blind luck? I don't think so.

There's no doubt we have started the upturn. Only question is whether this is going be be a 2 year run or a 4 year run. If China, Far East, Japan, and US/Europe all go at the same time, we might see a 4 year run. From here on, for the long term stock holders like myself, the exist point will make all the difference in the world. Luckily, we've got at least another year to have to start thinking about that. Another good point on our side is none of the semi guys have talked about upping their capex for 1999 yet.
