"The auto companies have been trying for years but none have had the success Ballard has had." If some of these patents are very old, some may be expiring soon, no? I'm not doubting Ballard's lead but with so many new players, either Ballard has to expand very quickly to work with all the new players or these new players are going to seek out other alternatives or develop their own technology. What's the likelihood of the other major automakers joining Daimler and Ford? Would Daimler/Ford restrict who Ballard does business with? I would think they have a lot of say since they own what? 35% of Ballard? Just a thought and still learning... Paul
