It is a good "What if?" scenerio for pitching a movie to a producer. Did you ever see the old black and white Twilight Zone episode from the 60's where they depict a future where the workplace becomes cold and sterile with nothing but big unfriendly machines and a few unhappy employees. It is interesting to see how wrong that writer's view of the future was. I tend to agree with you that machines will continue to empower people and not threaten them. In the unlikely event, some 100 years in the future, if all the viewing devices attached to the net(television screens, computer monitors, video phones, etc.)suddenly get interrupted in unison, with the beginning of the show, "The Twilight Zone", we only need to be scared if Rod Serling's face starts to laugh in a twisted way and tells us he chose this face from his video database, because it was the most appropriate for informing the human race of his existence. In the end, it would probably be a person behind a hoax. But you never know.

Thanks,
Joe W.
