Speaking of AOL, I was surprised when it was recently added to the S&P 500. Given that it sports a PE of umpty thousand and $grrzillions per subscriber, and is usually lumped in the same category with tulips and buggy whips, how is it that AOL was selected to join the S&P 500? Isn't that a vote of confidence in the industry and the company?
