Another company which has been profitable to me in the past during periods of unrest is MTEC. This company makes autoinjecting devices for drugs. The best known is injectible epinephrine for bee sting and other life threatening allergies. However, they are the sole source for nerve gas antidote autoinjectors and they sold millions of them during the gulf war. Everytime there is a crisis with Iraq the stock takes a very good bump for a day or two, especially when it looks like there might be ground troops or if Israel feels threatened. Look for it to bump if ground troops are suggested for Kosovo (even though it is unlikely that nerve gas will be an issue, they won't deploy troops without the antidotes, and the stuff has shelf-life etc). It is currently in the doldrums because of a recall with its epipen.
