johnd, The microsoft bear has returned. If you think we will see mid 70s on this stock, you are dreaming. We may not get a big rally yet but will if the whole tech sector comes back.

4.33 billion "too low" on the revenue side? That's compared to 3.77 billion same quarter last year, plus it's ahead of analyst estimates of revenue, which last I saw was 4.1 billion. Earnings per share met whisper numbers. I agree it probably won't spark a rally but I put that at the feet of the screwy market, not because MSFT didn't do it's part.

I think we're spoiled, people, when 4.33 billion dollar quarters that beat the street numbers are being called "too low".....
