catherineiw, I don't know where to begin. They have large contracts with ATHM,Cox,Rogers and smaller ones right now with TWX,Charter,Comcast and a host of other ones worldwide. I am excited about Paull Allen and his Vulcan fund buying shares, and also upgrading Charter systems with HLIT products. This could turn out to be a very rewarding relationship. HLIT built Comcast's Tampa area system MetroDWDM, a first rebuild for HLIT. They used their Scalable optical node to rebuild Cox's system in Palos Verdes. Videotron, the second largest Canadien cable company is using their Transcend digital system in Quebec. They are well respected, and most Canadien MSO's based their HFC systems on HLIT products. Their Satellite and Wireless Division is doing well in Scandinavia with Tele2,and South Africa. They also sold their digital Transcend products to Golden Channels of Israel. They have fantastic R&D units in Israel, they are firing on all cylinders. They have to leverage their installed base, and reputation to sell new products to the MSO's around North America and Europe. Their allegiance with Sumitomo in Japan is quite a good relationship also. Sumitomo became part of the largest cable MSO in Japan.
We will have to wait for the conference call after earnings to get a real feel for the company's future, but things look fantastic.
