This report is very solid. There is no way that it will trade down tomorrow. I think that we will see at least 88 within the next two days.

larry!

ok FYI: this is a great stock, and this release- as far as i've seen- is one of the better ones. they hit their whisper numbers, in both rev and earnings, and they really toned down the standard "doom and Gloom" comments that mr gates & mr balmer used to punish us all with. this company practically invented the massaging of the numbers, and beating down expectations, in order to blow them away in later quarters.

in terms of it trading down in afterhours and tomorrow - if you look back at the charts, the stock tends to run dramatically in the days preceding earnings, and drop the day after, since its typically overvalued due to that run up, and any release will never be enough to satisfy the "whispers" & of course the doom & gloom - the word "guarded" and the conference call thet we'll get at 5pm est will be the focus of the reporters. The final reference will be the analysts' spin on the conference call, as they have to ask "the hard questions" else look like twits...so they'll find something negative like "year 2000 worries look to weaken corp demand in the 2nd half, so were advising clients to hold here and not add until later in the year, no upward revision in earnings" which may as well be a sell.... of course i could be completely wrong, and since i'm a long term holder for over 5 years now, i'm not going to dump this stock any time soon. do so at your own peril....
