Year over
year revenue growth was driven by interactive digital cable TV systems and transmission product

Well, it's nice to see the digital infrastructure is getting put into place. IATV cannot fail. Mark my words, sometime this year IATV will be one of the hottest stocks to own. And we already own it, before the rush begins.

Best parts of PR. IMO

"During the quarter, General Instrument shipped approximately 800,000 interactive digital set-top terminals, an increase of more than 160% relative to the 300,000 units shipped in the prior year. Sequentially, digital shipments increased approximately 10%. From the time of product introduction in late 1996 to the end of the first quarter 1999, General Instrument shipped more than 3.5 million interactive digital set-top terminals. "

"Our record shipments of digital set-top terminals during this quarter reaffirms the strong consumer appetite for digital cable TV services," said Breen. "Going forward, we expect solid demand for digital products as our customers launch new markets and continue to expand their capability to deploy our products."

Just a matter of time now.....

I heard on CNBC tonight that General Instrument has installed 800,000 set top boxes this last quarter; up from 250,000 the previous quarter.
IMO, General Instrument is a great candidate to make a larger investment in ACTV.
