A lot of software companies bill automatically for upgrades and maintenance. Many companies prefer to pay this way.

So, yes, much of the upgrading will be practically automatic.

With the proliferation of low-cost PCs, and with Microsoft holding the line on their pricing, revenues will just keep going up.

Microsoft has been successful forever, probably the best example of an earnings machine the world has ever known.

I have no reason to believe that this will suddenly stop.
