Last week, I told you about a telemarketing firm that JAWS will be using to help market our products. The firm is called Sunset Direct and the website is sunsetdirect.com. The list of companies and products that they have been involved with is quite impressive. Next week, 3 JAWS employees will be going to Sunset's head office in Austin, Texas to train the telemarketers - they will begin making calls on Friday, April 30. The TMs will focus on selling JAWS Desktop Encryption but they will also do a survey for our XMail product. It looks like we have a firm date for the general launch of XMail - June 9. We decided to make the announcement at the annual CATA conference, which is being held in Calgary this year. (http://www.cata.ca/conference99/) We will also be holding the grand opening of our new offices the same day. We are expecting a number of CATA delegates, political VIPs, influential brokers etc. at the event, which will include a tour of the facilities.
