nsol - a lot of nervousness about which 5 companies will be announced wednesday (april 21) to compete with network solutions

and the u.s. government body -- icann -- wants to open up domain name registrations to global competitors by summer

in network solutions' favor is the 4 million domains registered already on its system, all of which i'm sure network solutions will try and keep as they renew their domain fees

at $60 per share nsol looks somewhat attractive to me but borderline

cons: network solutions grew by default and via government-induced monopoly

does its management know how to compete? it's never had to
